Volunteer State Mission Offering

A commitment to being the Presence of Christ in the world calls for an intentional posture toward “the least of these.” CBF Tennessee offers the Volunteer State Missions Offering. The VSMO is one way that churches and individuals from anywhere in Tennessee can serve and support ministry partners across the Volunteer State. Since its inception, congregations and individuals have given generously to mission and ministry projects to the tune of $500,000. We celebrate this significant accomplishment and the ways God meets human needs in Jesus’ name through your generosity. Learn more about goals, mission partners, and resources below.

Annual Goal and Mission Partners

Our goal for 2025-26 is $22,000

When you invest in the Volunteer State Missions Offering, you invest in the following Kingdom ministries:

  • Olive Branch Ministries (Scarlette Jasper) | Scott County, TN | $5,000
  • Welcome House (Cindy Hood) | Knoxville | $2,500

Whenever you promote the Offering, CBF Tennessee stands ready to assist you with promotional materials, bulletin inserts, and speakers. Of course, individuals may give at any time through the link at the top of this website or by mailing their gift to the address at the bottom of the page.
